Letter to Constituents Dear Constituents: It has been both an honor and a privilege to represent you as Edmonton Catholic School Trustee for Ward 2 for the past three years. I have worked diligently to develop in-depth knowledge of the District and issues relevant to it in order to effectively represent the Catholic taxpayers of Ward 2 and of the whole city. My focus has been on demonstrating fiscal responsibility in my roles as a Trustee and as a member of the Board, advocating for good governance, initiating greater Board and District transparency, and working toward greater permeation of Catholicity throughout our schools and District. As a Catholic School Trustee, I have been able to help many parents and students to iron out concerns. As Vice-Chair of the Board of Trustees and as the Board representative on the District Budget Committee since June 2009, I was able to really learn about the workings of Edmonton Catholic Schools. I will continue to build on this knowledge to represent and serve you even better. Effective October 18th, the ward boundaries for Edmonton Catholic Schools will be changed. The ward that I am running in, and hope to represent, is Ward 71, which will encompass much of what is now Ward 2, along with a few neighborhoods in what is now Ward 1. A number of communities that are currently in the north and west of Ward 2 will become part of another ward. Please refer to the map at left of Ward 71. Your vote will give me the mandate to continue the work I have begun! ![]() |
